SHIRLEY.
I believe what God placed in you deserves to be built.
Before there was a book,
there was a life being built.
Shirley was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and raised in the heart of Providence, Rhode Island. At six years old she found herself interpreting — for relatives, for friends, for the friends of friends. It became a paid job, and an entrepreneur was born.
That first assignment grew into Be Moore Interpreting, the company she founded and still leads, helping businesses and organizations across Rhode Island meet the needs of the very community that cultivated her.
Shirley holds a Bachelor's in Human Services and a Master's in organizational management and leadership. She is a Wraparound Facilitator and the recipient of the 2021 Empowered Woman Award.
She has built a home in Pawtucket, Rhode Island with her husband Ramel, their spunky son Jordan, their puppy Myra and more than 70 plant babies. Shirley and Ramel are honored to pastor Fortified Life Church in Providence. She loves to share the word of Jesus, travel the world and motivate Latina entrepreneurs — and there's still no place she'd rather spend a Sunday than on the couch with her family.
